PHASE II…
Will be unlocked once we hit our milestone of 10k signatures. Help us get there so you can see what’s next.
We’re entertainment industry professionals who are deeply rooted in the aerial world as instructors, performers, competitors, students, and advocates. Time and time again, we’ve been told that aerial is “too niche”—that networks wouldn’t greenlight an aerial docuseries or invest in digital aerial content because the audience “isn’t big enough.”
This platform exists to prove them wrong. By bringing the aerial community together, we’re showing the numbers, the demand, and the undeniable power of this sport. The more we grow, the harder we are to ignore.
WHO ARE WE?
ESPN has full televised time slots dedicated to the likes of World Chase Tag, Pillow Fight Championship, World Knife Throwing, and other burgeoning sports that have gained momentum in recent years. And the best part about it is that these sports didn’t just randomly pop up on TV; rather, a few dedicated players felt that their communities deserved just as much attention as the next sport.
So, with a bit of effort, passion, and persistence, they worked to raise enough awareness around their field that gatekeepers could no longer turn a blind eye to them.
In the same way, it’s time for aerialists to get the recognition they deserve in athletic arenas—just like gymnastics, cheerleading, ice skating, and other forms of artistic expression. Additionally, there has been an increase in exposure to aerial arts in mainstream media, and it’s the perfect time to showcase aerial in its entirety for the first time ever.
